Enchanced Security Glass

Enhanced security glass units are characterised by the presence of at least one laminated, bonded, toughened or reinforced glass pane. Such glass units are suitable for rooms where additional protection is needed or where the risk of falling, breaking glass or fire is higher. Enhanced security glass can be installed with or without glass units. 

Laminated, bonded, toughened or reinforced glass is more resistant, which makes it harder to damage. In the event of a fire it prevents the rapid spread and does not explode, so a localized fire cannot develop further. Enhanced security glass units do not offer full protection, but they can significantly reduce the risks, which is why it is often chosen as the preferred solution for patio doors, windows and ground-floor premises.
